"Master Reboot is a psychological puzzle adventure game set inside the Soul Cloud. The Soul Cloud is a giant server that holds the data of your Soul when you die. The Soul Cloud is filled with floating islands, each island looks like a town; village or city filled with rooms, skyscrapers and houses that hold people’s memories. To house your Soul, a family member (or yourself before you die) purchases an island on the Soul Cloud where the server will generate rooms, houses or skyscrapers that hold each and every memory from the deceased’s past, or of memories of their choosing. Since in this time Virtual Reality has been perfected, family members can visit the departed from time to time and they can visit old memories. When the person dies they are kept “asleep” for 6-8 weeks so the server can check the Soul and memories over and install a program into them so the deceased will understand where they are. If they are woken before this they won't remember that they died and can panic which can cause the server to crash and have to reboot the system which can take 10 weeks to return to normal. This means no new souls can be added and no one from the living can visit the deceased."

• Τά δυό βασικά του μειονεκτήματα πού μάλλον θ' αναγκάσουν πολλούς νά τό παρατήσουν στή μέση: 1) Θέλει πολύ γερό μηχάνημα καί καλή οθόνη (ειδικά στήν Street καί Park Memory) καί 2) Χρειάζεται γρήγορα αντανακλαστικά καί παίχτες εξοικειωμένους μέ arcade ή action πρακτικές καί, γενικά, η πλειοψηφία τών γρίφων του θ' απασχολήσει πιό πολύ τά δάχτυλα παρά τό μυαλό σου... (γρίφοι περιορισμένου χρόνου, ισορροπίες στό κενό, άλματα σέ κινούμενα επίπεδα, κλπ. κλπ).
• Η απουσία δυνατότητας save όποτε θέλεις ή, τουλάχιστον, όποτε θάπρεπε. Τό παιχνίδι σώζει από μόνο του σ' ένα καί μοναδικό αρχείο καί τό κάνει μέ αρκετά σαδιστική διάθεση... Ετσι, καθίσταται αναπόφευκτη η κουραστική επανάληψη δράσης αρκετά μεγάλων τμημάτων του, όπως καί τό σπάσιμο νεύρων πού τήν συνοδεύει.
